SENIORS
Please send Mrs. Elfrink a typed list of the scholarships you have received to be announced at graduation, including university/college scholarships. Once you have sent your list, please continue to update Mrs. Elfrink with additional scholarship awards.

MAP & EOC TESTING
Map and EOC testing will begin on Monday, May 26th and go through Thursday, May 6th. Letters have gone home with each student on exact days of each day each grade tests. Encourage your student to get a good night’s rest, eat a balanced breakfast at home or at school, attend each day, and arrive when school begins.

SEMO DUAL CREDIT/EARLY COLLEGE CREDIT FALL CLASSES
Sophomores and Juniors who would like to take SEMO Early College Credit classes for fall 2021 through the Dual Credit office should stop by the counselor's office to get a list of available classes and the application. Enrollment begins April 15.

ORAN KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP
Seniors who are either members or the son, daughter, step-son, or step-daughter of a member of the Oran Knights of Columbus Council are eligible to apply for their scholarship. If you think you meet this criteria, stop by Mrs. Elfrink's office to pick up an application.

DUAL CREDIT/EARLY COLLEGE CREDIT STUDENTS
The last day to drop a Dual Credit/Early College Credit Class and not receive a grade from SEMO is April 23. A drop form signed by the student and his/her parent will need to be submitted.

THE DANCE JR
The Dance JR will be held Saturday, April 24th from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the High School gym for all 6th - 8th graders. Snacks and drinks will be provided. No outside guests will be allowed. This is a semi formal event. Once students have arrived, there will be no leaving until your adult comes to pick you up. There will be chaperones in place. Tickets are $5.00 in advance.

CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP CORPS
The Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) is now accepting applications for their youth education program, the Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC). The CLC is a great opportunity for high school and college students interested in conservation and other closely related fields to network with resource professionals across the state, including over 100+ affiliate organizations. The program is highly regarded by the state agencies and is beneficial for securing internship and job opportunities. Students also learn about conservation advocacy and policy development, and leadership and communication skills. S&W JOB OPPORTUNITIES
S&W Cabinets in Chaffee is recruiting high school graduates for career opportunities. All positions are full time, Monday-Friday daytime positions. The top candidates will be someone who is reliable and thorough, with a strong desire to be a team player in a fast paced work environment and have the ability to read a tape measure. They are currently searching for: Entry-level Cabinet Builders, Cabinet Finisher (Spraying paint or stain onto cabinet parts), Industrial Maintenance, Solid Surface-Countertop Fabricator, Project Manager/Estimator-Would prefer applicants to have desire to learn AutoCAD and/or other cabinet drawing software, Shipping/Receiving, Production Manager-Cabinet building and prior supervisor experience required. Tickets $5.00 each and will be sold at lunch on Friday, April 9th, 16th, and 23rd. Tickets include dance and snacks!

Parade and Crowning from 7:00 - 7:30 Open to the Public
If you plan on bringing a guest, you will need to pick up a form in the office and have it turned in by Friday, April 16th.

FORMAL DRESSES
Best Keepsakes and Engravings L.L.C. has a large selection of formal dresses on consignment if you have a limited budget. They are open Tuesday thru Friday 3:30 to 5:00 and Saturdays 9:00 to 1:00.
SEMO Prom Mothers is a chapter of Becca’s Closet that gives out semi & formal dresses free of charge to high school girls in southeast Missouri and surrounding areas who may not be able to afford the cost of a dress. You must show your current school id. Since we don't have school ids stop by the office for a printout prior to going. Shopping is by appointment. You can either call 660-886-1957 or message them on their Facebook account SEMO Prom Mothers to set up an appointment. They also take donated dresses.
