ACT Prep Sessions – Prepare for College
One of the most important things you can do right now is prepare yourself for college and that starts with being ready for the ACT.
To help you tackle this important test, Ms. Compas and Mrs. Seyer will be offering ACT Prep sessions every Monday and Friday during Advisory (10:36–11:08 AM).
Subjects Covered:
Math with Ms. Compas & English with Mrs. Seyer

SEMO SHOW ME DAY
SEMO has Show Me Day from 9:30-2:00pm on Saturday, October 11. Show Me Day is made for all students to explore SEMO. To attend please register at: https://visit.semoadmissions.org/event/semo.events
Registration deadline is 9:30am on Monday, October 6.
FFA
FFA is selling fruit, meat, and cookie dough until September 26th. These items are delicious and only come around once a year!

TEAM SPIRIT
High schoolers who would like to join Team Spirit should pay $5 to Mrs. Elfrink by September 26. Team Spirit helps determine the Red Ribbon Week dress up days and teaches Red Ribbon lessons to elementary classes amongst other activities throughout the year. We will have our first meeting on September 30 and will have pizza at the meeting.
NO SCHOOL– October 3, 2025 & October 31, 2025
CTC is in session on October 3rd and October 31st. The bus will run as usual. You are expected to attend.
CTC is not in session on October 16th, 17th & 20th for fall break. Please check in to Delta by 11:00 on those days.
FBLA
There will be an FBLA Meeting in the cafeteria during Advisory on Monday 9/22 for members and students interested in joining.
FBLA will be doing a campus clean up on Friday, September 26th during 5th Hour. Only students that have paid their dues will be allowed to participate. Lunch will be provided for paid participating members.
Any students in grades 7-12 interested in joining FBLA may pay their dues to Mr. Hutson. Dues are $30 and include your shirt. The Six Flags trip will be $50 and will be on October 18. So, dues only will be $30 and dues + Six Flags is $80. Money will be due by October 16.
FTA
Anyone wanting to join the FTA please sign up with Mr. Williams’ in Cross’s room. It will cost $20 for the shirt.
