SENIOR MAILBOX
Seniors check your mailboxes at the end of the day. The deadline to notify the counselor that you want to compete for the DAR Good Citizen Award has been extended to November 3.
SEMO DUAL CREDIT/ENROLLMENT
Students can now enroll in SEMO Dual Credit/Enrollment classes for the Spring semester. If you need assistance, please contact the counselor.
A+ INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Mrs. Elfrink will be having an A+ informational meeting from 5:00-5:30PM (during parent-teacher conferences) Thursday, October 30. Parents and 9th-12th grade students who would like to learn the eligibility requirements for the A+ scholarship should attend.
MO GIRLS & BOYS STATE
Missouri Boys State and ALA Missouri Girls State are eight‑day immersive programs held in June at Lindenwood University where rising high school seniors simulate state government, run for office, and learn leadership through hands‑on civic engagement. The cost is $500 per participant for sponsors, covering housing, meals, and all program activities. For 2026, Girls & Boys State is June 20-27. Participants who successfully complete the American Legion Auxiliary State program are able to apply for scholarship opportunities. VFW NATIONAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION TEACHER AWARD
Recognize teachers who care about America. All current certified/licensed teachers in grades K-12 are eligible. To nominate a teacher, you must submit the nomination form, a resume for the teacher, and a head-and-shoulder photo to the local VFW by October 31. For more information, please ask the counselor.

EARLY DISMISSAL
We will dismiss at 12:30 on Thursday, October 30th. Parent teacher conferences will be from 2-6 in the High School cafeteria.
NO SCHOOL– October 31, 2025
CTC is in session on October 31st. The bus will run as usual. You are expected to attend.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
Conferences will be held 10/30/25 from 2-6pm in the High School cafeteria. All staff members will be present to answer any questions you may have. Letters went home 10/22 with more information.

Please check Teacher Ease to see your child’s grades and if they are missing any homework. You can also see your child’s attendance and lunch account.
LUNCH CHARGES
Please try and keep your student’s lunch balance in the positive.
ATTENDANCE
If your child goes to any appointments please remember to bring a doctor’s note to the office to have that day excused. Example of appointments would be Doctor, Dentist and Counseling. Students are allowed 3 days excused with a parent calling in and then they need a doctor’s excuse.
