A+ HELPERS FOR ELEMENTARY VETERANS BREAKFAST

A+ helpers are needed for the Elementary Veterans Breakfast from 7:30-8:10 on Tuesday, Nov 11. If you are interested, please sign up on the sheet on the counselor's door.

 

GREEN BEAR SAFE PROGRAM

Permission forms were sent home on Friday, November 7 for students in grades 6-12.  If you would like your student to participate in the SAFE program on Wednesday, November 19, submit your signed permission form to the office by Tuesday, November 18.

 

SENIORS/SENIOR PARENTS

As we discussed at our meeting on September 29, please be aware of the deadlines for admissions, housing, and scholarships for the colleges/universities your senior is interested in attending.  If your senior needs a transcript sent after they have applied for admission, please complete the Transcript Request Form and submit it to the office.  If you need additional help, contact the counselor.

 

SENIOR MAILBOX

MSBA John T Belcher Scholarship information is in your mailboxes. Deadline to submit to the counselor is 8 am November 12th.  Seniors are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

PICTURE RETAKES

If you missed the first picture day, retakes are on Friday, November 14. Sign up with Mrs. Seabaugh.

Please try and keep your student’s lunch balance in the positive.

 

 ATTENDANCE

If your child goes to any appointments please remember to bring a doctor’s note to the office to have that day excused. Example of appointments would be Doctor, Dentist and Counseling. Students are allowed 3 days excused with a parent calling in and then they need a doctor’s excuse.

Monday, November 10th - “Dreaming Through Time Day” – Wear your comfiest pajamas, slippers, or robes as if you’re snoozing your way back in time.

Tuesday, November 11th- “Time Travel Twins Day” – Pick a past decade and match with a friend in themed outfits

Wednesday, November 12th - “Old vs. Young Day” – Some dress like grandparents (curlers, canes, sweaters), others like little kids (pajamas, stuffed animals, playful clothes)

Thursday, November 13th - “Famous Through History Day” – Come as any historical figure (Einstein, Cleopatra, Rosa Parks, Elvis, Amelia Earhart, etc.

Friday, November 14th - “Dress as Your Class Decade Day”
