CTC PROSPECTIVE STUDENT DAY
Sophomores and juniors who applied to the CTC for next year will be going to meet their prospective teachers on Thursday March 26th. Students should be out front of the high school office at 7:55am, waiting for Advance to pick you up. We should return around 11:15. Current CTC students will not be attending the CTC this day and will need to check in at Delta by 11:00.
WOODLAND CAREER FAIR
Any Sophomore, Junior, or Senior that would like to attend the Woodland Career Fair on Friday, March 27 needs to sign up on the sheet in the Ag building or let Ms. Swindell know by Wednesday, Mar. 25 in order to attend. We will leave at 10:00 AM and return at approximately 1:30 PM. There will be a variety of employers, trade schools/colleges to visit in order to help you decide what is best for your future career. Let's go check it out!!
ACT
Juniors who returned their permission form will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 24th in the FEMA building.
Students need to report to the FEMA building by 7:45am for breakfast prior to testing. Testing is planned to begin at 8:15.
Testing will take most of the morning. Those who normally attend the CTC will need to stay at Delta to take the test. We will notify the CTC.
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS
Ø Delta High School Class of 1965 Scholarship-will be given to a 2026 senior, must be turned into the counselor by 8:00am March 31
Ø UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship-deadline extended to March 31
A+ SENIORS
The countdown to graduation is on. Please turn in your completed logs (with at least 50 hours) to the counselor to meet A+ scholarship eligibility.
SEMO TWILIGHT TOUR & ADMISSION PRESENTATIONS
Dates: March 26, April 2, April 16, April 23, April 30. Time: 5-7pm. This event includes a 30 min presentation by an Admission Counselor, a walking tour of campus, and dinner at the Copper Dome Cafe. SE District FFA Contests
Mar. 26, Mar. 30 - We will leave at 8:00 AM and return at approximately 3:00 PM. This is subject to change based upon contest participant numbers and travel to and from the testing sites.
Day Two of FFA Districts is Thursday, March 26 @ SEMO University.
Day Three of FFA Districts is Monday, March 30 @ TRCC in Poplar Bluff.
