SENIOR CAP & GOWN
Cap and gown orders are in and will be given out starting today. Seniors can come to the office between classes and get them. We can hold the students cap & gown until later, if you like. Please let the office know. The cap & gown cannot be replaced. Make sure to keep track of the medallion and tassel. Gowns may need to be steamed prior to graduation practice on April 30th.
STUDENT COUNCIL
Executive Student Council Applications available for the 26-27 school year. Upcoming sophomores through seniors are eligible to apply. The applications and letters of recommendation are due on April 30th.
PROM TICKETS
Prom tickets will be sold in the High School Art Room now until April 17th. Tickets are $10.00 each and $15.00 per couple. Prom is Saturday, April 18th at the Delta Community Building. Doors open at 6:00pm.
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS
Ø Bank of Advance Scholarship (given to a Class of 2025 graduate) due to the counselor by April 13.
Ø Ray and Lorene Masters Scholarship (given to a Class of 2025 graduate) due to the counselor by April 13.
Ø Cape Girardeau County Farm Bureau Scholarship-must be received in their Jackson office by April 10
Ø P & G Engineering Scholarship-must be sent to CapePGScholars@dja.com by April 10
Ø Multiple American Legion Scholarships-must be mailed no later than April 20
Ø Oran Knights of Columbus 4311-they must receive by April 24
Ø Drew Jones Memorial Scholarship-they must receive by May 1
MAC CARDS DAYS
MAC will be hosting 5 CARDS Days over the summer. These events are a great opportunity for students to finalize important details for their upcoming college journey! Students can access additional details by visiting the CARDS webpage: https://mineralarea.edu/cards-days/
US SERVICE ACADEMY NOMINATION APPLICATION
Congressman Jason Smith’s 2026-27 U.S. Service Academy Nomination Application is now
available. Current high school juniors who live in Missouri’s 8th Congressional District are eligible to apply for a 2027 nomination to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. A+ SENIORS
The countdown to graduation is on. Please turn in your completed logs (with at least 50 hours) to the counselor to meet A+ scholarship eligibility.
SEMO TWILIGHT TOUR & ADMISSION PRESENTATIONS
