JH DANCE

Friday 4/26 from 6-9 pm in the Bobcat Academy, there will be a semi-formal JH dance for 6-8th grade.  No outside guests, drinks and snacks will be provided. Cost is $5.00 and tickets can be purchased in the office.

 

PROM

Saturday 4/20 from 7-10 pm at the Delta Community Center, the Delta class of 2024 will be hosting their prom.  Grades 9-12 are welcome. Tickets are $10 PP or $15 a couple.  Tickets can be purchased in Mrs. Seabaugh’s room. 

 

DUAL CREDIT/EARLY COLLEGE CREDIT FALL REGISTRATION OPEN AT SEMO

Students who will be Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors next school year and meet the requirements set by SEMO can now register at semo.dualenroll.com.  Students will not be officially enrolled until April 11.  The classes that will be offered through Delta will be EN100 English Composition, MI101 Intro to Computer Applications, PY101 Introduction to Psychology, and US105 American History I.  Other courses may be available by request.  Please speak to Mrs. Elfrink if you have questions.

 

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOR JUNIORS

The Better Business Bureau is offering the Student of Ethics Award worth $2,500.  Juniors should apply at https://www.cognitoforms.com/BBBForms/_2024BBBStudentOfEthicsAward.  Deadline is May 3, 2024.

 

SEMO 90% Online Blended Elementary Education B.S. Degree

Southeast Missouri State University is introducing in the fall of 2024 the new 90% online blended and 10% Zoom option for earning a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.  Students currently have online options for their freshman/sophomore classes; however, the new option for Elementary Education will allow students to complete junior/senior level classes in the Literacy, Content, and Advanced Blocks through 90% online and 10% Zoom.  Students will meet through Zoom three (3) times per semester during the 1st, 8th, and 15th weeks in afternoon/evening so that working and non-traditional students will have the option to obtain their Elementary Education degree.  Students will still be required to earn their field hours (TBA) and student teaching in person. CSI SUMMER CAMP @ MISSOURI STATE

June 10 – 13, 2024            9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost: $275, includes daily lunch, camp t-shirt, supplies/materials and shuttle transportation. For high school students, grades 9-12. Learn from a former commander of a crime scene investigation unit. • Basic Criminal Investigation• Forensic Analysis Techniques • Crime Scene Processing• Evidence Collection• Lifting & Examining Fingerprints • Casting Tread Impressions• Identifying & Examining Blood Splatter/Stains• And much more!
