PARKING LOT
Please do not drive through the High School parking lot or in the grass in order to not go over the speed bumps. We still have students and adults on the premises. It is a safety concern.
August 7th from 9am-3pm & August 8th from 9am-2pm is new student enrollment for the elementary and High School. Please bring your proof of residency in our district, birth cert., SS card, and immunizations
August 15: Open House from 5-7pm for the 2024-2025 school year. High school students will get their locker assignment. Feel free to bring any supplies you have to go into your locker.
August 19: First day for the 2024-2025 school year
ACT
ACT Test Dates & Registration Deadlines. The next registration deadline is Aug. 9 for the Sept. 14 test. Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors may need to take the ACT to meet college admission requirements. Most merit based (college given) scholarships have an ACT score requirement & a Dec. 1 deadline for seniors.

10th & 11th graders taking Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment classes. As soon as your final is graded & posted, email a screenshot of your completed course percentage & letter grade to heather.elfrink@deltarv.k12.mo.us. Please do not wait to do this because the college quickly makes classes unavailable after finals.
Due to the storms that are coming in, and the timing of the bus routes, I want to give those bus drivers a chance to get home before baseball sized hail starts. So we will be dismissing at 2 pm today.
There is a "slight" chance for severe weather tonight. We will have the FEMA building open just in case anybody needs to take shelter.

We are having a last minute emergency with bus 10 (Crabtree's bus). We will be there. The bus might be a few minutes late.

The FEMA Building is open in case anybody needs to get in there during the storm.
Missouri Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) welcomed 5,000+ attendees from nearly 400 chapters to the record-breaking State Leadership Conference April 14-16, 2024 to celebrate our 65th year as an organization. Members and advisers gathered in person to expand their leadership knowledge, compete in various events, and connect with others from across the state. FBLA members competed in over seventy-six competitive events ranging from Accounting and Business Ethics to Social Media Strategies and UX Design. The Top 10 individuals/teams in each event were awarded medals onstage at Great Southern Bank Arena.
Delta had several students qualify and participate in the State Leadership Conference.
Throughout their time at the conference, members engaged in over 45 various specialized leadership academies led by professional trainers in various topics such as exploring all types of leadership styles, learning various communication techniques, strategizing time and stress management, and much more. The Leadership Expo held over 30 exhibitors including universities and military partners for members to connect, leadership activities for members to engage with, and tours of the College of Business at Missouri State University.
Amy Gallimore who is the Creative Director and CEO at Four 16 Training Solutions, LLC was our keynote speaker. Four16 Training Solutions is a company that specializes in inspiring keynote messages, interactive leadership workshops, and provides creative curriculum to clients all over the United States. Amy empowered all attendees to change their approach from looking at leadership as a “job” to an “attitude.” This year we also saw the return of Ernie Biggs Dueling Pianos for a captivating performance during our Leader Celebration.
