Delta R-V Schools

Thank you to everyone that came out for the Delta Booster Club Golf Tournament. It was a wet day, but a lot of fun. Thank you again for supporting Delta Schools.

CONGRATULATIONS to Gracie Branam who received the Drew Jones Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000 and the TRIO/Student Support Services Scholarship worth $2,000. We are very proud of Gracie and all of our Class of 2023 graduates!

The FEMA building is open if anybody needs to seek shelter. You will not be able to park behind the high school due to construction. You'll have to park at the elementary. The back door of the shelter, by the high school gym, is open.

The Delta High School has an opening for a part-time cook starting August 23. Please contact Scott Crabtree if you are interested at 573-794-2500.

MAP & EOC Score reports will be distributed to students on September 1. ISR are available by request from the office prior to September 1.

The end of summer is right around the corner. When you begin your shopping for back to school supplies, make sure to visit the school website. When you click on Menu at the top right of the home page, you will see links to school supply lists for your student grades.

10th, 11th, and 12th grade students who would like to take the July 15 ACT should sign up at www.act.org by June 16.

The 3rd Annual Delta Booster Club Scramble is set for 1:00 August 4th at the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course in Cape. Attached are the new physical and pre-participation forms. MSHSAA updated the physical and pre-participation forms recently that we will have to start using for new physicals. If you have any athletes that you know of who are going to be getting a physical in the future make sure they use this form and not the old one.

Boys baseball district game has been Moved to Capaha Field in Cape Girardeau. We will play against Oran at 4:00.

Mrs. Elfrink has met with 8-11 grade students (excluding those who were absent today) for scheduling. Parents, please review your student's schedule for next year and sign it if you approve. Then, have your student turn it in to the office tomorrow. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Elfrink at 573-794-2500.
