Seniors: please submit a list of the scholarships you have received and would like announced at graduation to the counselor by the end of the day on April 28. Please bring your award letter so a copy can be made.

SUPPORTING GRIEVING CHILDREN-The death of a loved one is devastating, especially to children. Parents, guardians, or educators who want to help children who have lost a family member or friend are invited to join Southeast Hospice on
Thursday, May 4, from 5:30-7:30pm at HealthPoint Fitness in Cape. They will learn how to better understand how grief manifests in children and how best to support them. Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required by calling 573-335-6208. Deadline April 24.

8th graders are taking the Science portion of the MAP tomorrow, April 12 and Thurs., April 13. They are allowed to use their own calculator. Please encourage your student to bring their calculator for testing. If they don't have one, the school can loan them one or they can use the embedded electronic calculator.

Register by May 5 for the ACT® test on June 10. Sophomores & their families should research the ACT and start making decisions about when to take it. Juniors should be taking the ACT again to increase their score. Students who test in June can get a copy of their answers and the answer key with their Test Information Release (TIR).
June is one of only three times per year when your students can purchase a copy of their test form questions, their answers, and the answer key. If you think your students might take the ACT more than once, June is the chance to include their TIR with registration. The cost is $32 if the order is placed before the test begins.

The donors of the Class of 1965 Scholarship have moved their deadline up from April 30 to April 12. This will go to a Delta graduate. Please complete and submit your application by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 12. Applications are available in the senior mailboxes.
