Every senior who plans on going to college or a vocational school full-time, has a 2.5 GPA or above, & is a SEMO Electric customer NEEDS to apply for the SEMO Electric Scholarship. Application must be postmarked by THIS Monday, January 23. It is very likely your senior will get this scholarship if they apply.

The late registration deadline for the February 11 ACT is Friday, February 20.

The 2023 Scott-Miss Conference Girls Tournament will be hold January 21 - 26 in East Prairie. Here are both the Varsity and JV Tournament Brackets.

Delta R-V Schools will dismiss early today at 1:30 pm due to flooding in some areas. We want to give our buses and student drivers time to get home safely.

On Friday, February 10, the Ladycats have added a basketball game AT Steelville. There will be two quarters of JV Basketball followed by the Varsity game beginning at 5:30.

The priority deadline for the Access Missouri Grant- the state’s largest student financial aid program – is quickly approaching. Students must complete the FAFSA by Feb. 1 to be guaranteed a grant award if they meet all eligibility requirements. Seniors who haven't completed their FAFSA should do so before Feb. 1.

Cape CTC is not in session January 16 or 17. Morning CTC students should sign in by 11:00am on Tuesday, January 17.

This years JH dance (BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE) will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21st in the Bobcat academy from 7-11PM. This is a semi-formal occasion for Delta JH students ONLY. Tickets are being sent home today, 1/12. There is a $5 admission fee that needs to be returned to the office along with the ticket by 1/18.

Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors enrolled in SEMO Dual Credit/Enrollment courses should pick up their books this week. Those new to these courses will also need to pick up their ID. If your student needs to miss during the day to pick up books, please call the office or send a note. Classes start Tues. January 17.

Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale now in the art room for $10.00. If you plan on bringing a guest, please fill out the form (found in the office or art room) and return to Mrs. Seabaugh or the office on or before January 19th.

Report cards for 2nd Quarter/1st Semester will be sent home tomorrow, January 10.

All Senior BETA members are eligible for National BETA Scholarships (over 250 awarded last year: $1,000-$20,000). To apply they need: their member ID, to upload documentation of ACT scores, to upload a copy of their HS transcript. The application can be found at scholarship.betaclub.org with a January 19 deadline.

National FFA Scholarship deadline Jan. 12. Apply at www.ffa.org/participate/grants-and-scholarships/scholarships/ using: Your FFA member ID & email address. DON'T use your HS email address. A copy of your transcript to upload. Accurate FAFSA information if applying for scholarships based on financial need.

National FFA offering $1,500 Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship. HS seniors-college juniors pursuing any ag-related field can apply through January 12. Details: Visit www.fund.bayer.us for more info. The girls game tomorrow will be played at Cape Central high school at 12 pm against Sikeston. Tickets may only be purchased online.

Tonight's boy's game at Zalma will be varsity only. Start time at 6:00 pm.

Homecoming dance tickets are on sale! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the art room. Outside guest forms can be picked up in the office and must be turned in by Thursday, January 19th!
