
Softball update. Due to a scheduling conflict there will be no softball game today.

The donors of the Class of 1965 Scholarship have moved their deadline up from April 30 to April 12. This will go to a Delta graduate. Please complete and submit your application by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 12. Applications are available in the senior mailboxes.

Baseball update:
Tomorrow's game vs Caruthersville will be played in Chaffee at Harmon Field. The game will start at 2:00.

Track & Field: Today's track meet at Kelly has been cancelled.

10th, 11th, & 12th graders, who meet eligibility requirements, can take Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment courses through SEMO or MAC. Enrollment for Fall 2023 has begun @ SEMO. Info has been distributed. We are waiting for MAC to send us their list. If your student needs help registering with SEMO, ask the counselor.

Congratulations to following Delta FFA members that competed at the SE District FFA Career Development Events on Wednesday, Mar. 29 at SEMO University. The Nursery/Landscaping team (Sadie Hornbuckle, Breanna Callaway & Seaera Dunning) placed 7th in the District. The Farm Management team (Carter Scherer, Ryan Glenzy, Coleton Deckard & Casey Crowden) placed 8th in the event. Proud of everyone for stepping up and representing Delta FFA!

The FEMA storm shelter is open for any community members that want to go up there. We are supposed to have bad weather for the next several hours. The shelter is open if you need to go up there.

BASEBALL: The Round Robin tomorrow, 4/1, has been moved to Kelly High School. New schedule is: 10:00 am Delta vs Kelly, 12:00 pm Delta vs Oak Ridge.

Due to severe weather threat the dinner auction will be held tomorrow, Saturday April 1 -doors open at 4:30, beginning at the same time.

The Bank of Advance Scholarship Application is in the senior mailboxes. This $1,000 scholarship will go to a Delta graduate. Deadline to submit completed application to the counselor is April 21.

This Friday March 31 is our auction and academic/athletic banquet. The doors will open at 4:30. Dinner will start at 5:30. We are serving fried fish, pulled pork, potato salad, coleslaw, corn, and green beans.

This Friday March 31 will be an AMI DAY. Students will not attend school. Students will have assignments to be completed by April 3. They have to complete assignments to be counted towards attendance. Thanks

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP application in the senior mailboxes. Deadline: in the Cape office by April 21. An essay is required with a limit of 750 words.

Seniors seeking the A+ Scholarship need to turn in their completed A+ log with 50 hours noted by March 31. Letters for those who turned in A+ contracts but have not turned in completed logs will be distributed the next week.

Career Pathways & Apprenticeship Showcase 9:00am-1:00pm on April 22, 2023 at the SEMO-Sikeston Regional Campus, 2401 N Main, Sikeston. 6th-12th grade students and their families are invited to attend. SEMO Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment/Early College Credit students: April 21st is the deadline to drop a class and not receive a grade. If a student wishes to drop, they will need to submit the drop form prior to 4/21.
