On March 4, Mr. Hutson's 8th grade science class competed at the Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair. These kids worked on their projects and represented our school and community very well. We are proud of their hard work.

On Thursday, February 6, Delta FBLA Students participated in the District Leadership Conference on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. Students compete in a wide variety of exams, projects, performance, and interview events. Delta students are competing against schools such as Cape, Jackson, Notre Dame, and Saxony Lutheran. We are extremely proud of how our students performed at this event. Out of the hundreds of FBLA members across Southeast Missouri, Logan Shy was one of only two students that won first place in three separate events. Logan won first place in Business Law, Financial Math, and the team of Logan and Ryan Brannigan won first place in Banking and Financial Systems. Freshman Gabe Schultz was our other first place finisher as Gabe won in Introduction to Marketing Conecepts. Second Place finishers include Hannah Ikerman, Intro to Business Communication; Grace Ancell, Personal Finance; Tyler Wahl, Computer Applications; and Mia Ahern, Spreadsheet Applications. Third Place finishers were Layla Sanders, Insurance and Risk Management; Ethan Welker, Intro to Parliamentary Procedure; Gabe Schultz, Public Policy and Advocacy; Hannah Story, Spreadsheet Applications; Hannah Ikerman, Job Interview; the team of Hannah Ikerman and Raelin Nanney, Intro to Business Presentation; the team of Ayden Cook and Gabe Schultz, Visual Design. Fourth Place finishers were Tyler Wahl, Cybersecurity; Raelin Nanney, Intro to Parliamentary Procedure; Layla Sanders, Securities and Investments; Ryan Brannigan, Supply Chain Management; Delaney Sanders, Graphic Design; and the team of Jase Anglin, Mason Hornbuckle, and Levi Williams in Sports and Entertainment Management. Fifth Place finishers were Rylin Huffman, Computer Problem Solving; Cheyenne Welker, Insurance and Risk Management; Allie Walter, Intro to Parliamentary Procedure; Layla Sanders, Networking Infrastructures; Ryan Brannigan, Personal Finance; and Emma Walter, Word Processing. Raelin Nanney was also selected to serve as a district officer for the 2025-2026 school year and will be the district parliamentarian. We are extremely proud of these kids and how they represent the Delta community.
