The State Tech (formerly Lynn Tech) representative will be here to meet with Juniors & Seniors 5th hour tomorrow. To attend, sign up in the office by 8:25am. State Tech offers technical degrees & health science degrees such as nursing. Go to www.statetechmo.edu/programs/ to learn more. They also accept A+.
Jostens will be here Tuesday 10/18 around 11:30am to take senior clothing & graduation item orders. $75 deposit needed to place order at the school. Orders can also be placed online at www.jostens.com. Parents are welcome to attend. All seniors need to go to the meeting to have graduation gown measurements taken.

We want to thank our local veterans for their service to our country! We are going to offer a free breakfast to Veterans and their spouses on Friday, Nov. 11. Please come to the elementary school from 7:30-8:00 on Veteran’s Day for biscuits and gravy, sausage and sweet rolls. You may park behind the building and enter in the back through door #4. If you park in the front you may come in the front entrance. Call the office at 794-2500 by Oct. 31 if you can attend so we can plan appropriately.

Seniors interested in applying for the DAR Good Citizen Award will need to type a timed essay, submit a transcript & 2 letters of recommendation. State award $250. Division award $500. National award $5,000. If interested in applying, let Mrs. Elfrink know by Oct. 26 or direct questions to her.
A+ students who would like to earn hours can help Mrs. Rush prepare for the Elementary Book Fair after school on Thursday, October 13. You can also help students while they attend the Book Fair October 17-20. Those interested should sign up with Mrs. Elfrink.

FCA Fields of Faith Wednesday Oct. 12
Fields of Faith at Houck Stadium- bus will leave Delta at 5:30 and will return 9:00-9:30. Turn permission slips in to Mr. Hutson or Mrs. Nash by Tuesday Oct. 11.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be on Oct 20 from 2-6. The elementary is by appointment and the letter for signups will be coming home soon. The junior high and high school will host conferences in the gym. No appointment needed for the high school.
