Seniors interested in applying for the DAR Good Citizen Award will need to type a timed essay, submit a transcript & 2 letters of recommendation. State award $250. Division award $500. National award $5,000. If interested in applying, let Mrs. Elfrink know by Oct. 26 or direct questions to her.
A+ students who would like to earn hours can help Mrs. Rush prepare for the Elementary Book Fair after school on Thursday, October 13. You can also help students while they attend the Book Fair October 17-20. Those interested should sign up with Mrs. Elfrink.
High School students who would like to join Team Spirit please pay $5 to Mrs. Elfrink by Tuesday, October 18. We will have pizza and meet during lunch on Wednesday, October 19 to discuss plans for Red Ribbon Week.

FCA Fields of Faith Wednesday Oct. 12
Fields of Faith at Houck Stadium- bus will leave Delta at 5:30 and will return 9:00-9:30. Turn permission slips in to Mr. Hutson or Mrs. Nash by Tuesday Oct. 11.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be on Oct 20 from 2-6. The elementary is by appointment and the letter for signups will be coming home soon. The junior high and high school will host conferences in the gym. No appointment needed for the high school.

Hello All,
Cape Schools and Cape CTC will be back in session tomorrow (Wednesday, 10/5). We have a pallet of bottled water available for students; however, please encourage your students to bring their own water for consumption.
Cape CTC is back in session tomorrow.
Beta Meeting will be 4th hour on 10/12/2022 (Wednesday) in Bobcat Tech. You will be called down once CTC students arrive.
There is no school on Friday, October 7th. Have a great weekend!

The Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Scholarship application is now available. Parents of Juniors and Seniors who are currently enrolled in Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment courses through SEMO may apply to get reimbursement for payment of classes. You will need to set up an account and complete the application at https://web.dhewd.mo.gov/studentportal/
The Delta FFA Chapter Officers attended the Career Exploration Day at the Fisher Delta Research, Extension & Education Center in Portageville on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Over 18 topic sessions were presented from a wide variety of industry professionals for students.
FCA See You at the Pole 9/28/22. Next FCA meeting- Wednesday, Oct. 5 during Advisory in Mr. Hutson’s room.
